'Beauty and the Beast' Nabs $350 Million Worldwide

Actor Emma Watson is expected to pull in United States dollars 15 million ( Rs 100 crore approximately) for the live-action remake of the 1991 Disney classic.

The film, directed by Oscar victor Bill Condon and based on the 1991 animated film, cost 160 million USA dollars to make. It was sweet, it was very sweet of her.

After all, will having Brie Larson playing a live-action Rapunzel or Game Of Thrones' Sophie Turner as Ariel, really make a difference to the box office when your USP is a beloved character?
