Longmont weather: High of 75 with strong winds

Today's forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high of 75 and winds 16 to 21 miles per hour with gusts as high as 32 miles per hour.

Longmont could see highs in the 70s and strong winds today, according to the National Weather Service. Overnight temperatures will fall to 35 degrees. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Saturday, a chance of snow before 10 a.m., then a chance of rain and snow between 10 a.m. and noon, then a chance of rain after noon. The coldest it will get Saturday night will be around 47 degrees, weather forecasters say.

The beginning of the month saw well above normal temperatures, with a high of 70 in Central Park on the 1st.

Friday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 22.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Cloudy, with a low around 30. There is a chance of rain and snow before 11 a.m., then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 40. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 61.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 52.

The weather service predicts the highest gusts will occur late morning into the afternoon.
