Washington's Sidney Jones Suffers A Significant Leg Injury At Pro Day

It's typically the final phase before doing personal workouts or meetings with select National Football League teams.

With an injury so close to the Draft (approximately a month away) Jones could fall as far as the fourth or fifth round depending on the severity of his injury.

Some really bad news out of Washington's pro day on Saturday. It came on the final defensive back drill of the day. It's unknown how severe the injury is at this time.

Washington CB Sidney Jones, one of the top corners in the 2017 NFl draft, appeared to suffer a torn Achilles on Saturday.

But if Mayock does become Washington's GM, he wouldn't be the first to make the jump from the broadcast booth to the front office. He has broadcasted CFL, NFL and college football games, and now serves as one of the NFL Network's draft experts.
