Barcelona confirmed this evening that they have reached an agreement with Ivan Rakitic to extand the midfielder's contract until 30 June 2021.
The 28-year-old Croatia worldwide will sign the deal, which has a £109m (125m euros) buyout clause, on Friday.
The Croatia international's previous deal was due to expire in 2019, but he has now agreed an extension that will keep him at Camp Nou until 2021.
Additionally, The Croatian's fresh terms include an eye-watering buy-out clause of 125million euros, equating to around $132 million.

The Sacramento Kings are, yet again, on a lopsided season, now at 25-38 and among the worst teams in the Western Conference. The San Antonio Spurs will be without a few key players for Thursday night's nationally televised game at Oklahoma City.
The Croatian came from Sevilla in Luis Enrique's first year and established himself as an important cog in the treble-winning season.
Rakitic, who played a part in Barcelona's incredible 6-1 Champions League victory over Paris St Germain on Wednesday night, moved to the Nou Camp in 2014 from Sevilla.
But now he is staying, just a day after he compared Barcelona's historic Champions League win against PSG to the New England Patriots' Superbowl triumph earlier this year over the Atlanta Falcons.
